Chrishaunda Lee received a Bachelor’s degree in theatre with a concentration in costume design from Wesleyan University and studied and performed Golden Age theatre in Madrid, Spain. She was honored with the privilege to produce and perform off-off Broadway in a play she wrote titled “Getting Under Our Own Skin” that debuted in 2003. No stranger to the art and non-profit world, Chrishaunda currently serves on the Board of Governors at The National Arts Club in New York City, where she also heads the fashion committee. In addition, she is a children’s education advocate who has supported educational organizations as both a patron and volunteer. Prior to joining True Colors Theatre Company, Chrishaunda ran her own boutique pr and marketing service in New York City for nearly a decade, specializing in brand building and strategic exposure for lifestyle-driven companies.
