Audiences are Sounding Off on Our Town

The play was wonderful and it made my trip from Stone Mountain worth while. I got a chance to speak with Curtis King after the show and I told him that I thought the last part of the play was very moving. The smell of bacon made me hungry (smile). I had to hold back my tears because I reflected on my loss of both parents last year from cancer just 3 months apart from each other. The scene at the graveyard helped put a different outlook on death from the perception of those already passed. It reinforces the meaning that you have to continue living and truly enjoying life so it does not simply pass you by. We have to learn how to "see" people for who they are while they are still with us.

Take Care,
Carol J.
