COVID-19 Protocols

September 1, 2021

True Colors Family,

The time is nearly here. We are so excited about getting back on stage and being in your presence again. It has been too long! Before we get back together, we want to reassure you that we are doing everything we can to make it as safe as possible for you, the artists on stage, the crew behind the scenes, and our team.

All Season 21/22 productions, including our Reality of Realty Winter Play Reading Series, will be fully-vaccinated productions.

This means that all guests over age 12, all cast and crew members and all team members at the theatre must either be fully vaccinated, or show proof of a negative COVID test, issued no more than 72 hours prior to the performance. “Fully vaccinated” means the performance date you are attending must be at least 14 days after your last dose of an authorized COVID-19 vaccine.

Proof of vaccination or negative test results must come directly from the healthcare provider that performed the vaccination or test. Guests can show proof of vaccination by presenting a physical vaccination card, a photo of a physical card, or a digital confirmation of vaccination. Proof of a negative test may be an email, print-out, or screen shot from the test provider, dated no more than three days before the performance. Either must be accompanied by a photo ID.

Masks will be required at all times inside the Southwest Arts Center. Masks must be secured to cover your nose and mouth. There will be no concession sales, nor will outside refreshments be allowed. Seating will be distanced, in pods (sets) ranging from 1 to 5 seats per pod, and with one empty seat between each pod. We will provide masks for those that do not have them. We will take temperatures upon entrance and will also have hand sanitizers available. The auditorium will be sanitized before each performance.

The Box Office will be open at the theatre ninety minutes prior to each performance. However, advance ticket purchases are encouraged. This will help in our efforts to limit crowding inside the lobby. We will also have digital playbills that will be available via QR code in your “Know Before You Go” email, and at the theatre.

If you are feeling unwell on the day of your performance, please let us know and we will exchange your ticket for another date.

We will continue to monitor the situation to maintain the utmost safety for our artists, staff, and audiences, and will continue to update policies as appropriate. If you have questions or would like more information, please contact us at info@truecolortheatre.org.

Positive vibes,
