We look to have an open discussion about the effects that race plays on internal operations of the police departments and racial perceptions of police officers from an external perspective. We are looking to discuss the root of the issue, community perception, and tools that we can use to break down barriers. There will be an expert panel discussion followed by an audience Q&A.
Moderated by David A. Love a journalist for CNN.com, The Atlanta Black Star, and The Grio.com among others.
