David de Vries - Kenny Leon's True Colors Theatre Company Atlanta

David de Vries is pleased to be working with True Colors again after appearing in the smash hit Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner in 2012.  Since then, he’s taken over the reins as resident Scrooge in the Alliance Theatre’s annual production of A Christmas Carol, in addition to appearances in feature films like Lila and Eve starring Viola Davis and The Founder with Michael Keaton.  His recent directing credits include the upcoming Pancakes, Pancakes! (Alliance Theatre), I’m Not Rappaport (Aurora Theatre), Storefront Church, and Buckminster Fuller: The History and Mystery of the Universe (Theatrical Outfit) starring Atlanta favorite Tom Key.  His production of Red at Theatrical Outfit was the recipient of the Suzi Bass Award for Best Production of 2012. He appeared on Broadway for 2 years in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast as Lumiere, in addition to performances all over the country in Beauty and the perennial favorite Wicked.  David is an award winning audiobook narrator as well, with over 100 books to his credit, and he recently became an Audie Award Finalist for the 2nd time, for his narration of Echo by Pam Munõz Ryan.  Find him at www.daviddevries.net.
