Tess Malis Kincaid (Director) is honored to be back at True Colors, and to be collaborating as a director on this wonderful play and with these extraordinary artists, technicians and staff. She appeared here as Christina Drayton in Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner a few years ago (a role she went on to play at Arena Stage in DC), and will be back later this season in Exit Strategy. Tess’s directing work has included projects with Theatrical Outfit (The Savannah Disputation), Stage Door Players (Dancing at Lughnasa and Same Time, Next Year), and Georgia Ensemble Theatre (The Great Gatsby, What I Did Last Summer, and The Boys Next Door). Her work as an actor has been seen on stages throughout Atlanta, as well as in San Francisco, Philadelphia, Washington DC, and North Carolina. Film/TV: Sleepless and Finding Steve McQueen (2017 releases), “House of Payne,” “Devious Maids.” She is a three time Suzi Bass Award recipient for her roles in August: Osage County and Broke at the Alliance, and Good Boys and True at Actor’s Express. She thanks Kenny for the opportunity and the support, as well as Jenn, Lisa, and lark for the care. Love and thanks always to Mark and B. This is for Daddy.
