Eugene H. Russell IV (Mister) a proud Atlanta native and Tennessee State University alumnus, is thrilled to be back with True Colors after previously appearing in Our Town and Tambourines To Glory. Other regional theatre credits include Blackberry Daze (Horizon Theatre); What I Learned In Paris, Jesus Christ Superstar GOSPEL, and Cuttin’ Up (Alliance Theatre); Memphis The Musical (Aurora Theatre/Theatrical Outfit) and Before It Hits Home (St. Louis Black Rep), for which he received the prestigious Woodie King, Jr. Award. Film/TV credits include FOX’s Star and BET’s The Quad. He recently composed the music for Alliance Theatre’s Theatre for the very young audience (TVY) world premiere of Beautiful Blackbird.  A seasoned voiceover artist and saxophonist, Eugene’s most cherished role is Daddy to the world’s two prettiest, sweetest little girls.
