Basil Wallace is a lifetime member of La Mama, E.T.C. Out of high school, Ellen Steward gave him the opportunity to study with her company. He attended the NYC School of the Arts, where he studied with famed director, Lloyd Richard. He’s worked Off-Broadway at The Lincoln Center, American Place Theatre, The Public Theatre , New Federal Theatre, La Mama, E.T.C., and with the Negro Ensemble Company. He’s toured with the National Black Touring Circuit, and the Kennedy Center/Birmingham Theatre. Mr Wallace has been seen on ” CSI”, “LAX”, ” Burn Notice”, “Eagle Heart”, “City Of Angels”, and “Born Free”. In films you’ve seen him in The Wood, Grand Canyon, Caught Up, A Time of Fear, Marked for Death, and Blood Diamond. This is his first at True Colors.
