In our time off the stage, we have been creating free virtual content uplifting Black voices, truths, stories and lives. As we move toward the possibility of getting back on stage, your gifts will be more important than ever. Mailchimp will match donations up to $40,000 dollar-for-dollar, doubling the impact of your gift!

Why Give Now?

MATCH MAILCHIMP’S $40,000

Since March 2020, True Colors has continued to live up to our core values by providing space for emerging artists to develop their work, by commissioning work to build a pipeline of Black plays for future production, and by introducing and creating new opportunities for conversations with the community.

Gifts like yours have made it possible for us to offer these programs for free, so that our True Colors family could find healing in these stories of Joy and Pain.

Starting now and until July 31st, we seek to raise $80,000 to help us get back on stage. The great news is that, thanks to Mailchimp, we are halfway there!

Our Programs:

  • The Drinking Gourd: a national artistic home for Black Voices
  • 2021 August Wilson Monologue Competition National Finals Presented by Kenny Leon's True Colors Theatre Company
  • Art Meets Activism: John Lewis, C.T. Vivian, and The Baptism
  • True Colors Theatre Company 2020-21 Season: Joy and Pain

We are proud to announce that you can match Mailchimp’s support of $40,000 by making a gift by July 31st! Your gift, at any amount, will help us amplify your voice through all aspects of our virtual programming. Give today and Match Mailchimp’s $40,000!
